If you want Final Mix to be hilariously easy, I'll toss you my old JP 1.0 clear data so you can unlock bonus stuff. The Mirage Arena content is a fair bit harder on PSP than it is in 2.5 Remix, because it expects you to be using local multiplayer. Birth by Sleep - There's a Final Mix translation patch for this one, too, IIRC.358/2 Days - Get Desmume x432r from the bottom of this page.Get the one that "restores" the new cutscene audio. KH2 - I like Crazycatz's patches, if you want to play Final Mix (new difficulty mode, ~20 new boss fights, half hour of new cutscenes, etc).Re:Chain of Memories - I've never tried emulating this, since my copy's fine, but I've never heard of anyone having significant issues.Remember, though, that PS2 emulation requires a sturdy CPU, rather than GPU - the KH games are pretty well-optimized, at least, but framerate drops also tank the sound. PCSX2's wiki has setup recommendations for KH games. (The PS3 remake has skippable cutscenes and camera controls on right stick, plus misc changes like reworked difficulties.) If you still have your disc copy, you can play it from that. KH1 - there's a Final Mix English patch, but it's buggy.(On the other hand, you'll probably have better load times.) Google goes a long way here - there have been plenty of threads like this, and " emulator" does a pretty good job of bringing up the right results for me, at least.įor what it's worth, the PS3 versions have some additional content - fanmade patches for KH2 and BBS make nearly all of this available, but the graphics are still a little worse and the music's not the remastered version.
